Lithe – The emerging role of managers in the digital age

We had such good knowledge-sharing and participation in our recent OKR masterclasses that we want you to join us for our next event.

This time, we are investigating how we, as managers, are adapting to the tensions and challenges of the digital age. And we are excited to be tackling such an important topic in such a refreshing way – a seminar where we gather information and learn from each other.

If you’ve read recent reports about Artificial Intelligence tools or been involved with D&I, Agile, or digital transformations, you’ll know there’s much more to running a business now than simply managing its resources. But much of it is intangible, unobvious, or even hidden and is easily overlooked in the daily busy-ness of work.

Our session starts with an overview of ‘An operating model for business agility’. Developed over six years’ of research, Russ Lewis will outline the key areas of the organisation that matter most in the digital era. They are:

  • Lean and Agile practices to improve delivery to customers

  • Decision-making to improve prioritisation and leadership

  • Forces and sources of tension that impact managers and shape the culture

  • Beliefs that shape employee behaviours, including diversity, environmental responsibility, and social justice.

You probably already have thoughts on what parts of the model you find most interesting and how your own organisation is performing in these areas. The majority of the session will be for you to share your experiences and insights based on what the model highlights for you.

We believe that this discussion will provide invaluable insights for managers who are keen to stay relevant and lead their organisations into the future. If you are happy to be recorded, your views will contribute to Russ’ on-going research and forthcoming book.

Lithe is delighted to be sponsoring this event because we believe in managers and have made it our mission to help you improve your ways of working.

We do hope you can join us for what should be an engaging and thought-provoking event.
